Phillip Garth Law AC, CBE, 1912 –2010Photo by Fred Elliott.
Phil Law was many things to many people. In Antarctic circles he was variously seen as a leader, an explorer, expeditioner and to many, a friend.
This tribute page includes a number of obituaries published in newspapers both here and abroad. They provide a summary of Phil Law and his contribution to Antarctic exploration. More interesting however is the latter section: personal accounts written by ANARE expeditioners of Phil Law the man. Further contributions of stories and photographs are welcomed.
