Information for members intending to nominate for council


Please send written or email confirmation of your interest in nominating for 2011/12 National council to Secretary Bob Watson, and include a list of positions you are interested in.

Under the current constitution of the ANARE Club there are 13 positions available for election to National Council. These include 5 Office Bearers (President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary and Social Secretary) and 8 Ordinary Members. Descriptions of the duties associated with each position can be accessed here.

Nominations can be accepted by the secretary up to 24 hours pre AGM e.g. 5pm Sunday 10th July 2011.
Each nomination must be supported by a proposer and a seconder, who must be current financial members of the ANARE Club.

These may be sent to the Secretary separately, either in written or email format.
